General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
If nail is partially came out with nail bed is intact there is possibility of old nail will stuck there again and will be alright.
If injured nail is detached completely of nail bed then it is advisable to remove it and let healing should come properly.
If old nail remains there, new nail might not come in its proper place giving rise improper alignment.
Consult your doctor and get examined and go accordingly his advice.
Ok and take care.
