How Long Will Neuropathy Caused By Chemotherapy Last?

I developed Neurapathy in my feet and hands after my Chemo which ended in March, 2014.It is still bothering me but I can still function.How long will this continue?I am taking a drug and Vitamins currently. My Chemo consisted of Cisplatin and Gemzar.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Usually there is a 3 to 6 months period after stoping chemo, symptoms of neuropathy subside, but may take longer. A small number of patient suffer from permanent peripheral neuropathy. If you feel you're getting a little bit better from time to time then there is hope that your symptoms will go away.
