Hi,

Bupin forte plus contains buprenorphine which is an opioid, that is, it is like opium. So, it is not available at chemists as per government regulations. You'll have withdrawal symptoms when you stop this medicine. In my opinion, rather than continuing this medicine and becoming addicted to it instead of opium, you should take proper treatment and quit all types of opioids. Since you are in Chandigarh, you can attend the de-addiction centre at either PGI (Sector 12) or GMCH (Sector 32). Both are government institutes and will provide rational treatment.

Best wishes.
