Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. The treatment regime that you have been given seems to be fine. It will take 4-6 weeks for the patches to lighten if you strictly follow the treatment. You must remember that Triglow cream contains a steroid as one of its component. This should not be used for long term without the doctor's supervision. After 4-6 weeks, you could stop Triglow and switch to a non- steroid containing formulation which has 2 % Kojic acid, arbutin, liquorice and niacinamide. Triglow cream, on long term unsupervised use can cause skin thinning, redness, irritation and whitening. You could also get glycolic peels done by a qualified dermatologist. Use the sunscreen every 4 hours even when indoors and also in cloudy weather. Hope this helps you. Take care.
