How Long I Have To Take Xirtam H For Hypertension ?

Sir, i am asked to take Xirtam H since last 03 months for Hypertension .Could you please tell me how long do i have to continue this medicine and what are the side effects of it. Thanks.

hi,thanks for query.Please understand that in most of the cases we do not know or there is no detectable cause of hypertension.With medicines we are only controlling the blood pressure we are not curing the disease.so in most of the cases you need to take this or another drug life long to avoid complications.Any drug can have side effect but one has to take in to consideration the risk benefit ratio.
