How Long Does Wine Remain In The System For Urine Test?

I am in a rehab program and was doing well but I just kinda slipped up and had some red wine. They are testing my urine on Friday morning. I don t plan of drinking. I am so mad at myself. I am actually headed to aa soon. I just hope it does not show up in my urine. I had two glasses of merlot. I am not at all drunk but still.

Hello,

Red wine metabolize by the liver and excreted via kidneys in urine. Usually, this whole process takes 24-36 hours.

And after 36 hours, complete excretion of wine from the body occurs. So calculate accordingly. If it is already 36 hours then no need to worry but if it is less than 36 hours then you may get positive urine test.
