How Long Does The Salmonella Typhi Causing Fever Takes To Cure In An Infant?

hello doctor...

my son 11months old he is suffering from fever above a week,we took blood test and result say salmonella typhi o 1:200,haemoglobin with 908gm/dl,platelet count 1.4lakh/cum,and we take medicines according to doctor suggestion for past a day. what is your advice? how long it takes to cure?

It normally takes 24 to 48 hours after the initiation of antibiotics for the fever to subside.
It definitely looks Enteric/Typhoid fever and he should improve soon if appropriate antibiotics are started.
