General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern. Fertility should be regained soon after removal of IUD. In some circumstances when hormonal preparations are used, it may take about 2 to 3 months for the menstrual period to normalize. If there is delay in getting regular periods, it is advisable to consult Gynecologist and get yourself evaluated, so that appropriate treatment can be instituted accordingly.

Hope the information provided would be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.
All the best.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S
