Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I injured my lower back. I was bent over and it felt like my lower spine broke. Nothing shows on the MRI other than mild degenrative arthritis They keep telling me my disc space is normal and the arthritis is normal wear and tear for someone my age. I have been in P/T and Chiro for two months going twice a week for both. The P/T is streghthening muscles around the injury but the injury is not healing.
Physiotherapy will take time and more often than not it helps in the long run, and over several sessions. I would recommend continuing them and also introducing medication to help control your arthritis. Speak to your doctor about the same. Strengthening the muscles around the injury will in turn help your injury heal sooner.
Best wishes.
