How Long Does Alcohol Stay In The Body?
Dear doctor, how long does it take to lose any trace of alcohol, beer 50 ounces a day, with end stage cirrhosis. I ride 35 miles a day, 5 days a week. I have about six days until I get blood work where I am getting my liver transplant. I don t know what kind of test they will use but I m almost certain it will not be a hair folical test. Probably a pee test.

Alcohol will stay around 48 hours.
Routinely done is the blood test to assess the alcohol level and it stays in the blood for a maximum of two days.
