How Long Does Ovidrel Stay In The Body?

i am 9 days post iui and 11days post when i took the ovidrel shot. i took a home pregnancy test and it came up positive. am scheduled to take a blood test on the 26th of june (but couldn t fight the urge this morning). how accurate is the positive results and how long does 250mcg of ovidrel take to clear out of your system? thanks

Hi,

In case you use a home pregnancy test after an hCG injection, wait 20 days before interpreting the test as positive or negative. The best way to detect a pregnancy after an hCG injection or shot is the hCG beta blood test. The blood test is much more sensitive than a urine pregnancy test.
