How Long Do Effects Of Smoking Marijuana Last In Body?
Hi I am a 21 year old female. This past Friday I got high with a friend from my knowledge it was simply marijuana and was just a rolled joint, this was my second time getting high. I am still feeling as though I am high, I will do things and move from place to place without feeling like I have moved or done anything. I have spoken with my friend that I did it with and she feels fine. I am also feeling numb. All I want at this point is to feel normal again. I have been eating well and getting lots of fluids, I have also been getting lots of rest. Thank you for any help you can give me,
Marijuana high varies but under a day certainly. However, psychological reactions to one of the first psychedelic experiences certainly can last for a while. Anxiety, and mild reactions are really common (mild, temporary). Anxiety can be associated with fidgeting, hyperventilation (which makes extremities numb), intrusive thoughts, etc. First, is realizing that nothing bad/permanent has happened. Second is cognitive behavioral therapy if panic/anxiety/thoughts persist.
