How Long Do Bioidentical Hormones Take To Work?

I am 55 years old and suffering from menopausal symptoms. Bio-identical hormones have barely made any difference after taking them for 18 months. It doesn t seem to matter whether I double the dose or not. Is there something I could be doing to get the full benefit from these hormones?

Hello,

The bioidentical hormones do show a difference after 10-12 weeks. If after taking them for 18 months there is no difference then you can consider taking HRT after consulting your gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rakhi Tayal,
