How Long After Stopping Depo Shots Does Periods Turn Normal?

I was on Depo Provera for five years and stopped on 31st July 2014. However, while waiting for my period to return which has not for two months I engaged in sexual activity twice and the rubber broke and had to use Postinor 2 twice. Will my period ever come back so that I can use an alternative contraceptive.

I think I have understood your concern, I will try to suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1) First of all do not panic.
2)usually menstrual cycles resume between 3 to 5 moths of stopping the depo Provera.
As you have taken Tab Postinor ,there will be some unusual withdrawal bleeding pattern.
With such emergency contraceptive pills withdrawal bleeding is early or late , scanty or heavy.
3) Till then please use condom carefully as a contraceptive method.
Once you resume your menses , you can use intrauterine device or birth control pills as contraceptive method.
4) As you are already off Depo Provera, and have taken Postinor, just wait patiently for withdrawal bleed to occur.
