How Helpful Is Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide In Enhancing Life?

Hi.. a senior seeking to LIVE FOREVER (kidding of course,) but I heard of N.A.D., (Nicotinimide Adenine Dinucleotide,) and heard about some life enhancing effects it has! Some Mice, that dirty word, and worms, have had their lives extended through its use! If Worms and Humans share about 95% of their D.N.A., then it might have similar effects on Humans! Might be worth giving it a try, especially since old-timers don t have much to lose! What do you think? Thanks Tom... Oh yes, I exercise daily, don t smoke, don t drink, somewhat heavy for my height, 5 7 or so, and am a pretty healthy Veteran who has bi-yearly check-ups...TWA....

Hi,

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is an essential coenzyme involved in many cellular processes, including energy metabolism and DNA repair. While studies have shown some promising results in extending lifespan in animals like mice and worms, there is limited evidence of its efficacy in humans.

Currently, NAD+ is being studied for its potential in treating age-related diseases and conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and age-related hearing loss. However, it is important to note that these studies are still in their early stages, and more research is needed to determine their safety and effectiveness in humans.

As with any supplement or treatment, it is always best to consult with a healthcare professional before trying NAD+ or any other new supplement or treatment. Additionally, maintaining a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise and a balanced diet can also help improve overall health and potentially extend lifespan.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
