How Early Can Medullary Thyroid Cancer Be Diagnosed?
Hello. Recently my sister in law along with her brother and father were diagnosed with medullary thyroid cancer. My concern is my niece that is 20 and nephew that is 24 have been told not to be tested until around 30 years old. What are the benefits of waiting.

Medullary thyroid cancer has a genetic origin. Your nice and nephew have to consult a geneticist and also should be tested as soon as possible.
I don't think there is a reason to wait until 30 years old. There is not a valid reason to justify the waiting time.
