How Early Can Fetal Heartbeat Be Detected Through Transvaginal Ultrasound?
I should be 6 weeks 4 days. ultrasound showed 6 weeks, gestational sac 7 weeks, visiable yolk sac but he was not sure if it was a heart beat he saw or not. should they see a heatbeat with transvaginal ultrasound at this stage or not? Should i be prepared 4 the worst? No cramping or bleeding.

1.Trans vaginally from 5 1/2 and trans abdominally 6 1/2 weeks.
2.As your scan gives 7 weeks, and your LMP 6w4days - ideally heart sound should be heard by this time.
3.In this case i would call the patient for a repeat scan in 5-7 days to confirm the condition.
4.In your case you can prepare for worst, but i have seen the cases with positive result. Hope the best and go a head.
