Fertigyn 5000 contains Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG). It is a hormone that supports the normal development of an egg in a woman's ovary, and stimulates the release of the egg during ovulation. It is normally secreted in women for supporting egg development. Injection of the hormone increases the chances of pregnancy by facilitating egg development and ovulation.
