Does Deviry 10mg prevent pregnancy or helps in pregnancy. I was prescribed Deviry for unusual periods that were delayed 60days approx. Doctor prescribed it for 5days and on fifth day i had unprotected sex. I had undergone ectopic pregnancy last year. Please guide me.

Hi, I think deviry will not prevent pregnancy. It is not a contraceptive. It will induce your periods if you are not pregnant. So, you may get periods in 10 to 14 days after stopping the tablet. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries. These will help in knowing the cause of the irregular periods. You may need some hormonal treatment. Talk to your doctor regarding this.
