How Do I Wean Myself Off Florinef?
how do you wean yourself off Florinef? I would ask my doctor first before doing so. I have taken it for almost 8 years now for low blood pressure, but it hasn t raised my BP that much. I was just afraid to stop taking it as I thought my BP would drop even lower. My BP with fludrocortisone runs around 100/60 or lower. I see a testimonial on here that you have to take salt with it in order for it to work, but I cannot do this as I have migraine-associated vertigo. I am wondering now if I have been taking fludrocortisone for nothing?

are you suffering from addison's disease and low sodium that is hyponatremia and low BP or only low BP
why have you been prescribed Florinef.is the first info i need to know
salt hav no real bearing on the migraine associated vertigo in fact if you maintain proper serum sodium levels and hydration it will help in maintaining your blood pressure which in your case if is 100/60 and does not give any symptoms is fine.
