How Can Uterine Fibroids Be Treated?
I was just diagnosed with having fibroids and an enlarged uterus. I am having severe pain in my abdomen and back, I leak urine, having trouble with bowel movements I am being referred to a gyno but was just wondering what my chances are for having a hyterectomy? I have had issues for 40 years like fibroids, endometreosis and I havent had a mentral for 12 years

Whether you need to get a hysterectomy done or not will depend upon the size of the fibroid and your symptoms. You will need to get a sonography done to assess your condition. Sometimes fibroids shrink with medical therapy but in some cases they don't and a hysterectomy is needed.
