How Can Tonsillitis Be Treated?

Hi, I was diagnosed with tonsillitis and got treated with levofloxacin for 8 days. I got better, but not completely healed, then i went to another doctor, they treated me with wide spectrum antibiotics for 4 days, and though i still had red throat they said my tonsils are healed and just caught a cold, they did tests and there seemed to be no problem. A few days later it came back, and they treated me for 3 more days with infusion and then 4 days inhaling anti inflammatory medication and also some antibiotics and then they noticed there s a small tumor on my uvula. They cut it off and gave me, guess what, antibiotics for a few days again. Now its been almost 2 weeks since the small surgery, my throat feels fine, but its still a little bit red and veiny, but no pain. Sometimes i feel a little pain in my lymph node on the left side of my neck in the upper part. I went back to doctor but though my throat seemed to got better, its very slow, now its kind of the same. In front of the tonsils on the side its a little more red, and generally my throat is veiny and a little red, and I dont know what to do. By the way when i changed doctor I presented every detail and medication from previous doctor, but I m pretty sure that I might be like this because they overused antibiotics. I love sports but I was told I cannot do anything until my throat is fine, but as I said its not really changing, what can I do?
