Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of a bacterial infection. I recommend performing a throat swab for bacterial infection, for strep infection and fungal infection. This test will determine the right drug to treat this condition.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
