How Can Swelling On The Small Toe Be Treated?

I have hit my pinky toe for the third time into something and it is swollen and purple on the bottom. I never went to get an xray any of the other times but now afraid I could have problem since I have hit it so many times. Last time was only 2 months ago and couldn t walk on it at all

hello,
i can understand your concern.
kindly apply ice on the swelling. you can take tylenol for pain. rest and pain medications are sufficient most of the times.
if you do not have problem in moving your toes,the chances of fracture are very less. never the less we can be sure only through an x ray.
if the toe turn bluish or blackish consult your doctor immediately.
