How Can Swelling On The Left Knee Be Treated?
Hi, You may be suffering from knee effusion due to meniscal tear. To be clear it will take time to heal and a long process too. It is treated with NSAIDs, cold and warm compression, elevation of the limb at night. Muscle strengthening exercises regularly helps a lot. If symptoms not improved please consult your orthopedician he will examine and treat you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
