Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

You may be suffering from knee effusion due to meniscal tear. To be clear it will take time to heal and a long process too.

It is treated with NSAIDs, cold and warm compression, elevation of the limb at night. Muscle strengthening exercises regularly helps a lot.

If symptoms not improved please consult your orthopedician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
