How Can Swelling In The Ring Finger Be Treated?

Yesterday while carrying my suitcase, I felt a pop on my right hand. Union inspection of that hand I saw that my ring finger could not straighten out. The last joint at the end of the finger cannot straighten. Swelling, a bit bruised by not much pain.

Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Since the pain is not severe, it looks more like soft tissue inflammation.
Advice:

1) Start with ice fermentation.
2) Do not massage it.
3) Apply Klofen gel (If you are not allergic to Diclofenac) 3 times/day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
