How Can Swelling And Bruising On The Finger Be Treated?

I wore a ring yesterday, and my hands swelled up and I wasn t able to get the ring off till this morning, my husband had to snip it and broke it off. Now it has been 4hrs. And my finger is still swollen red and almost a black color by nail. Should I go to see a doc. Could I lose my finger?

Hello,
Welcome to the HCM,
Dear it could be due to pooling of blood on one side.As ring is now removed so swelling will be subsided within few days itself. In case swelling increases more than before then it need to be seen by doctor.
