I think you may have acute gastritis with gastro oesophagal reflux disease. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved please consult your physician/Gastroenterologist they will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

2 nights ago i woke up with excruciating stomach cramps and waves of pain radiating up my back. the next day, i still felt the cramps and back pain but not as much. last night again with the cramps and pain but it was much much worse and i threw up what looked like phlem or stomach acid. today the stomach cramps have subsided but i still have moderate waves of pain radiating up my back. i also experienced indigestion, acid reflux and now i have sour stomach - all in one day and the day is not yet over. my stomach is swollen; the tiny little area in the center beneath my breast bone which i believe is where the esophagus meets the stomach is very painful to the touch so i m assuming its irritated and inflamed. what is it doc?
