How Can Stretch Marks Be Treated?

Iv been taking steroids for about 7 months also previous to this I had some steroid injections, this is all for my brittle asthma. I m now 8 months pregnant. Where my skin has gone so thin from steroid use I have got stretch marks. What is the best way to get rid of them . Will I be able to have laser surgery? Is there anything I can take to make my skin thicker as it s horrible.

Hello,

As per your case history of stretch marks, my treatment advice is -
1. Apply a vitamin E oil once daily for three months.
2. Take a vitamin E supplement once daily for three months.
3. Apply a tretinoin 0.025 % cream once at night.
4. Other treatment options are laser treatment, chemical peeling done by a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
