Dear
I am sorry for the symptoms your dad may be suffered and very glad that he has been and treated right
On PTCA there is a minimum risk of recurrence so he need periodic examinations to rule out any problem
If he is asymptomatic now you have nothing to worry about
He need to be treat with antithrombotics (aspirin and clopidogrel for at least six months) and treatment for any other chronic disease like (high blood pressure, diabetes is dislipidemia)
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
