How Can Shingles Be Treated?

I HAVE SHINGLES AND MY DOCTOR SUGGEST THIS MED FOR ME AND SHE ONLY GAVE ME A SAMPLE PACK, SO MY QUESTION IS HOW MANY TIMES DO I TAKE IT, AND DO I NEED TOTAKE ALL THE SAMPLE PACK THAT HAVE ABOUT 21 PILLS AND THEY ARE ABOUT 50 MG, SHE ONLY WANTS ME TO TAKE ONE PILL AT 7P.M., AND ITS PRETTY MUCH DRYING UP NOT MUCH PAIN AND INCHING BUT STILL HAVE RED AND SORENESS

Hello,

As such you have not given the name of medicine given to you, so it not possible to say anything about dose and timing, although no specific medicine is there for viral infection (Shingles) it is the self-limiting condition.

I would suggest to come back on this forum with particular name of medicine given to you, just a pain can be managed with Paracetamol tablet as per needed.
