How Can Severe Muscle Pain Be Treated?

I am semi retired and work part time unloading trucks. I have PADS and it is really getting painful now. Went to a physical therapist my doctor set up but physical therapist did tests and stated not muscle problem. Referred me back to my doctor. Since I am semi retired should I quit my job until I get a solution for my problem. I don t want to have a stroke. Especially since this job is $9.00 an hour. Have it to keep busy

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, the current presentation suggests severe muscle pain management includes:
- Postural adaptations and precautions during particular work pattern to avoid stress over the affected muscles.
- Local application of analgesic spray or ointment.
- Best analgesic actions with centrally acting drugs as Tramadol or opioids.
- Assisted physiotherapy with experts.
- Keep blood sugar and body weight under control.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
