How Can Severe Earache Be Treated?

Sir, I ve unbearable pain in my right ear. Had tympanoplasty abt 4 yrs back due to fungal infection. Have taken ibrufen 200 1 tab last night & today morning but not much relief in pain. Upon suggestion from an Ent Dr. have taken 1 tab of Zerodol-s but no relief as such. Due to Sunday m not getting any Dr. to visit. Pls suggest. F-28 Feeding kid 1 yr old.

Hi,

An earache can be related to an infection. You can use anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen.

You can also use ear drops for antibacterial properties. Antibiotics may be needed if the symptoms continue.
