How Can Severe Depression Be Treated?

my non died and it was right after my birthday. I have been on an anti-depressent since 19. trouble with my brother, whom I always loved to the moon, became someone so hurtful (all about the money) We no longer communicate and thankfully we live 750 miles apart. He was my hero. We took the task of taking care of my parents. husband and me. He always seemed as good as my husband but is not. my mom knew and I never knew he could be so nasty so I am more than depressed than ever. I take Pristq. but there have been other problems with losing my 91.5 yr best-friend other problems are happening that relate to this.
