How Can Severe Depression Along With Anxiety Be Treated?

Hi..I ve been on a host of meds to treat depression, anxiety and chronic pain. I malso have been on Adderall years ago. However, after moving out of state my new drs, do not want me on Adderall. I m also on Pristique and Wellbutrin. I work hard and cant afford a brain fog. I also have trouble prioritizing and concentrating. I m willing to give up Pristique and Wellbutrin and ask for Adderall instead. I ve always done well while on it Would that be a fair trade?

Moving to new state is definitely a big life changing experience especially for someone suffering from anxiety and depression. I think the concerns that your new doctors have are Adderall's effect on your anxiety and depression. Adderall is not generally recommended for those suffering with these diseases.

Maybe an increase in dose of Pristiq and Wellbutrin may help you at this time. Cognitive behavioral therapy may also be helpful. I hope I was able to answer your question. Please let me know if you have any further concerns.
