How Can Severe Cold And Flu Be Treated?

I take Metoprolol 25mg twice daily for tachycardia, and pota chloride 20meq once a day and I have a terrible cold/flu that is making me miserable. Is there any OTC cold or flu meds I can take to relieve the symptoms? I know most decongestants are off limits but I m not sleeping because I am so plugged up and post nasal drip, cough etc.
