How Can Rheumatoid Arthritis Be Treated?

Hi. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I presently take an infusion of Rhumicade 800 mg every 6 weeks. I take Hydrocodone 325/500. I was on 6 to 8 pills a day at one point. I have taken myself down to 2 a day. I m trying to get to a point where I don t have to take anything at all. I have notice an itching when I take the Hydrocodone. I have been taking benadryl every day to help with the itching. Long story I know, but I was out on vacation with my grandbabies. I had forgotten my pain meds. Someone I know well gave me a tramadol. I think it helped me more with the pain. It didn t make me itch. Would it be dangerous to ask doctor about switching my pain meds to see if they work better?
