How Can Recurrent UTI S Be Treated?

I am having urinary burning, frequency so I took an over the counter test for a UTI and it was positive.I have no back pain , no temp. I have had UTI s before and take a 7 day course of Cipro becuase 5 day did not clear it up. I am wondering if I am able to get an order for Cipro from an on-line physician or do I have to go to my PCP?

Hello, i just read your query and I would like to suggest that since you are still having UTI inspite of ciprofloxacin then probably you are resistant to it.
I would advice you to drink 8-10 glasses of water daily and wait for a few days without ciprofloxacin and then do a urine culture sensitivity test and then you can know which antibiotic will be suited to the organisms causing UTI in your case.
I am not sure anybody can prescribe online any medications but you will need someone who will prescribe on the basis of your urine culture sensitivity results .
Hope this advice is of some help to you.Goodluck.
