General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The common injury sustained due to falling on outstretched hands is a distal radial fracture. As it was not managed properly, probably there is malunion of fracture.

It can easily be diagnosed by an X-ray of the hand. Take NSAID like Advil to relieve the pain and inflammation. Go for hot fomentation.

Continue physiotherapy. Visit your orthopaedician, it may require internal fixation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
