Hi, I have gone through the query and understood your concern. If you have always been regular with your cycles, this menstrual delay should be investigated. Home pregnancy tests should read well 3-7 days after the missed period. consistently negative tests rule out pregnancy. Yet, you can also get an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres for a better clarification. Your symptoms can also occur during the premenstrual period and hence, need not be due to pregnancy. A trans-vaginal sonogram also will help to come to a conclusion. Hope this helps.
