How Can Plantar Fasciitis Be Treated?

Aoa...doctor sahib. I am having pain under my feet in the middle part. I checked on line and the symptoms I was having were close to the problem termed as planter facitis.it is the inflammation of the tissue connecting the forward part of the feet to the heel. Please recommend what should I do about it.I am overweight and having this problem from laSt 6 months.

I understand your concern
Pain in middle of footsince 6 months mainly due to the plantar fasciitis and Plantar calcaneal bursitis.
Following are symptoms:
severe pain in central plantar area with first step of the day and then gradually decrease, associated with mild swelling
Other causes are:
Other causes that cause pain in the bottom of foot are:
calcaneal bursitis, Compression spinal nerve root, calcaneal stress fracture.

Consult the orthopedic surgeon and go for following investigations:
Clinical examination of foot: dorsiflexion test
X-ray and USG of foot
As a treating doctor I will give following advice:
Complete rest till the pain will disappear,
drug like NSAIDS with seritopeptidase
Soak leg in warm water with added salt,
Wear orthotic device

Pain will not respond to drugs should be treated by:
Local Injection of steroids and shockwave therapy.
