How Can Phimosis Be Treated?

I have has psoriasis issues for a few months and my dermatologist thought that it could also be on my foreskin/penis. I am uncircumsized and when I try to pull it back in the shower for washing, it hurts and won t peel back. It bleeds. Is there something I can use to improve the elasticity of it?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Phimosis is not just a tight skin. At your age, phimosis is build of scar tissue. Stretching it just makes the scar harder and foreskin tighter. That is why stretching is not a good idea. Unfortunately, surgery is the only solution.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
