How Can Persistent Cough And Excessive Phlegm Be Treated?
I have a persistent cough with phlegm that won t go away the phlegm is clear and thick. It has been going on for weeks. Went to the doctor two weeks ago and got and antibiotic still coughing worse than ever today. It is a tickle in the throat that causes the cough and sometimes I cough so hard I vomit. What going on?
This is due to persistent respiratory tract infection. you take antibiotics levofloxacin for 5 days and Bromhexine syrup one teaspoonful twice daily for one week. You will relieve from both in one to two weeks.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
