Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Treatment of disc pain include the following:

1- Rest your neck, by avoiding any extreme physical activity until improvement.
2- You can use over the counter analgesics, such as Ibuprofen when necessary.
3- Apply topical drugs, such as Voltaren anti-inflammatory gel.
4- Apply cold compressors to the painful area, allow the pain and discomfort to resolve.
5- Drug injections in severe cases can help to relieve the symptoms.
6- Physiotherapy.
7- Surgery if the previous methods fail.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
