Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I got into a car accident a few days ago ( had hit something in the road and made me loose control. The car flung into another truck and I spun 360 degrees about three times) at first I was not in pain and was just really shaky and disoriented. But after that my head was hurting, my neck and back was also. I m now worried because after taking it easy this weekend... I am still extremely tired and moody like. I can barely focus on anything!! What can I do?
Since you met an accident I would first ask, did you enter the emergency room or took any medical help in the initial stages? Because having a somewhat of injury to the head internally is usually common in most accident cases like having a shock?
Now due to your accident which you mentioned was quite horrible to imagine. I am amazed you are all OK without any major injuries. God is really blessing you well.
Coming to your neck and back pain, this might have occurred during the accident and went unnoticed for that time.
You should get it checked by an orthopedist first for physical examination and maybe some x-ray OE MRI might be advised.
Post which you may be put under the physical therapist for the further management of your complains.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
