How Can Pain In The Knee Joints Be Treated?

Hello, for the last few months, I ve been experiencing joint pain in my knees, especially the left one. The left one has been swollen for about a month, mostly in the back. I ve had shooting pain, dull pain, etc., on a daily basis. More than once I ve been unable to lift my foot to walk. I also get restless leg syndrome. Both of my legs are extremely stiff right now and somewhat tingling/numb, which I haven t experienced before, so I m concerned. I ve been to a family doctor as well as an orthopedic doctor and had x-rays done several times, but no one has been able to determine what s wrong. I m 27, 5 2, a healthy weight (not at all overweight), and before this started, was exercising regularly. If you could provide me with some insight, I would greatly appreciate it.
