How Can Pain In The Forearms Be Treated?

I have several disc bulges in my neck, c3-4 c4-5 c6-7 DJD spondylosis, severe neural foraminal stenosis and central canal stenosis moderate, in c5-6,c6-7. Grade 1 degenerative retrolishthesis c6 relative to c7. Reversal of normal cervical lordosis c5-c6 level. I have a appointment with a nuerologist in a few weeks. Few questions. Will a nuerologist be my best choice for a specialist? What is reversal of normal cervical lordosis? Besides being in extreme pain my forearms are brusing very easily red bruising from barely touching something, takes a very long time to go away, I am 53 is this due to poor circulation, is it a medical emergency. Been happening for 2 months now.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns
first of all let me tell you that your arm pain is mostly a radicular pain from your neck problem. It will fade with treating your neck problem.

Normally there is lordotic cervical spine ,any abnormality in the cervical vertebrae alignment reverse this lordosis this means straightening of the cervical curve or reversal being kyphotic.

If I were your treating Doctor for this case,I will reassure my patient ,I will search for any bleeding diathesis to know the cause of recurrent bruising and finally I will prescribe medications to relieve neuropathic arm pain and to improve circulation with the aid of neck collar.
I find this answer helpful
