How Can Pain From Having Gallbladder And Appendix Removed Be Dealt With?

Hi I just Had my gallbladder and appendix removed eight weeks ago and had complicates after the surgery like throwing up. Now eight weeks later I am still having severe pain like a 12 out of 10. We have gone to my doctor and surgeon but they can't figure out why I'm still in excruciating pain. Do you have any ideas of what it could be? Or what we should do?

hello,

it's not normal that 8 weeks after surgery you still have a lot of pain. Simple muscle pain should have be gone by now or be relieved by taking some pain killers.

When the pain perseveres than I would perform a Ct-scan and a blood test to check if everything is ok.

One definitely must rule out fluid collections, other problems,...

Hope this will help you. Feel free to contact me if you have other questions.
