How Can Pain And Swelling In The Knees Be Treated?

After an RT Knee Arthrogram, what can I do for the pain? I am using Ice for the swelling. I had heart surgery and has a pace maker so I can t take a lot of stuff without interacting with my heart medications I am on. I did take an over the counter pain pill. Elouise

Hi,

The primary relief with the best analgesic for a heart patient is paracetamol (650 mg) or tramadol hydrochloride (50 mg) after meals if no history of drug sensitivity after discussion with your cardiologist.
