Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain pain in upper part of mouth can be due to any retained root pieces that can be accidentally left after extraction..
It can keep erupting towards the surface of the gums and can continuously cause pain..

Secondly dry mouth can be due to numerous causes like severe dehydration, oral infection like Thrush, side effects of medication, salivary gland disorder etc..

You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

For dry mouth chew sugarfree chewing gums..
-Drink plenty of water.
-Avoid regular mouthwash and use specialized mouthwash that are formulated for dry mouth patients
like Biotene..
-You can also instil artificial saliva drops..
-Suck tart candies as it also stimulates saliva flow..
If does not improve consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..

Hope this helps..

Regards
